A Vimaan alternative with the price on the page.
Vimaan's StorTRACK uses the same mechanism as Sentispec Inventory: a pallet sized camera unit picked up by a forklift the warehouse already owns. The differences are not in the hardware. They are in what each company will tell you before you get on a call, and in what each one does not do.
What Vimaan does
StorTRACK is also a camera unit on a forklift.
Most of this market sells a vehicle. Vimaan does not, and neither does Sentispec.
- StorTRACK is a forklift lifted camera unit. In Vimaan's own words it is a standalone pallet sized unit that can be lifted by any standard forklift or order picker, operated by any operator already driving a forklift, cherry picker or other materials handling equipment, with an eight hour battery. That is the same idea as the Sentispec recording unit, described on the recording unit page.
- PickTRACK fits cameras permanently. It mounts cameras on the customer's existing materials handling equipment, rather than having the forklift pick a unit up for a run. Sentispec Inventory does not offer that. Nothing is fitted to your vehicles.
- They publish a large cycle counting library. Vimaan covers cycle counting, high bay scanning, very narrow aisles and case level counting at vimaan.ai, which is useful if you are researching the category rather than buying.
- They offer a fully on premise deployment. Servers, storage and application inside the customer's facility, and they state that Vimaan stores no personally identifiable information. Sentispec keeps all data and all processing on your premises as well, set out on the security and data page.
Everything above is quoted or paraphrased from Vimaan's own public pages as they read in August 2026. Sentispec has not tested StorTRACK and does not know what Vimaan charges.
Why people search for an alternative
Usually one of four reasons.
- They need a number before they can start an internal case. Vimaan's own ROI page states that the cost of the solution depends on your workflows, volumes and site setup, so they scope it with you rather than publish a number, and the value table on that page ships with placeholder cells. Our price and our arithmetic are both public: the price list and the ROI calculator, no form, no call.
- They are buying for a European estate. Vimaan's public material is built around a US operation: dollars, US logistics customers, US trade shows, Sarbanes Oxley, food traceability rules, and parcel carriers. Sentispec is Danish, prices in euro, keeps all data and processing on your premises and writes for a Northern European DC.
- Their information security team wants a named standard. Vimaan's security page describes strong architecture but names no standard. Ours names two: cyber security implemented to the ISO 27001 standard, and external audit according to ISAE 3000.
- They have several warehouses rather than one. One Sentispec recording unit can serve up to five warehouses in a cluster, moving between them on a rota, which is what the Network tier is priced around.

Where Vimaan is the better choice. If you need case and carton counting inside partial pallets, they publish that capability and we do not. If you want cameras permanently fitted to your existing forklifts rather than a unit picked up for a run, PickTRACK does that and we do not. And if your operation runs from receiving through packing and parcel shipping and you want one vendor across all of it, Vimaan sells a seven product family and we sell one product. Sentispec Inventory counts stock. Sentispec Handler tracks pallet movement and Sentispec Inspector measures trailer and container fill rates, both on sentispec.com, but that is three products, not seven.
On accuracy claims
One number, ten published sites, a stated method.
Accuracy is the hardest figure to compare in this market, because vendors rarely state what they measured against.
Vimaan's public pages carry four different accuracy figures in four places: 100% on the homepage, 99.9% on the cycle counting page, 99.8% on the company page and "+99%" on the StorTRACK page. Each may be true of a particular deployment. Read side by side, they are hard to act on.
Sentispec publishes one figure everywhere: 99%+ stock accuracy after go live, with individual sites reaching up to 99.99%. It is measured against a controlled baseline count taken at go live and monitored by ongoing counts afterwards, and every discrepancy line carries the recording that produced it. The benchmark lists all ten sites and what the measurement does not control for, including the fact that no site ran a parallel manual count for comparison. Is Sentispec Inventory just a European Vimaan StorTRACK?
Both are pallet sized camera units picked up by a forklift the site already owns. What differs is everything around the hardware. The Sentispec price is published, deployment is committed to five days, security assurance is externally audited to ISAE 3000, all data and processing stay on your premises, and one device can serve up to five warehouses.
What does Vimaan charge?
Vimaan does not publish a price. Their own ROI page says they scope it with you. The Sentispec price is on the pricing page: €9,950 setup plus €39,550 a year for one warehouse, €8,950 and €37,450 per site from five sites up.
Do you count cases inside a partial pallet the way they do?
No. Sentispec Inventory reads every pallet label and registers every location, including the empty ones, down to the individual position in the racking. It does not count cases inside a partial pallet. If your requirement is case level, say so early and we will tell you whether it fits.
What can I check before a call?
