Astro WMS and automated stocktaking.
Astro WMS runs across a large share of Nordic warehouses, and Sentispec is a Danish company that works in those estates regularly. It reconciles the same way as everything else: a stock export in, a discrepancy report out, and nothing for your IT team to build first.
The export
Astro holds a pallet identifier against a location, which is the pair Sentispec needs. A stock export containing those two fields for the area being counted is enough to produce a full discrepancy report, and it is normally an existing report rather than something new.
What gets matched
Every position driven past is recorded, occupied or empty, and matched against the export. The result is the four discrepancy types on the integrations hub, each opening the image that produced it.
This runs on live customer estates today. Sentispec has live customers running on Astro WMS, exchanging stock data with it and running discrepancy analysis on that data. As a Danish company, Sentispec works in Astro estates regularly across Denmark, Sweden and Norway. Consafe Logistics releases Astro in versions with meaningful differences in reporting, so the specific export and the field mapping are confirmed with your own administrator during the five day deployment.
File, then API if wanted
File exchange first, which is enough to run counts indefinitely. Standard API when you want the correction written back without anyone typing it.
One administrator, once
Someone who can run a stock report. Pallet identifier translation is validated on day 2 of the five day deployment.
