Integrations · Manhattan Associates
Manhattan WMS and automated stocktaking.
Manhattan already thinks in LPNs and locations, which is exactly the pair Sentispec Inventory reconciles. Nothing has to be built on the Manhattan side, and there is no integration project to schedule before the first count.
The export
Manhattan installations hold pallet identity as an LPN against a storage location, so nothing bespoke is involved: the extract already exists somewhere in your reporting, and a warehouse systems administrator runs it. Where sites usually pause is on which status field counts as authoritative, and that is a five minute conversation rather than a design decision.
What gets matched
Reconciliation happens on the recording and the extract, not inside Manhattan, which is why nothing about your configuration has to change to get a result. The four discrepancy types described on the integrations hub come back the same way whichever product line and release level you are on.
This runs on live customer estates today. Sentispec has live customers running on Manhattan, exchanging stock data with it and running discrepancy analysis on that data. Manhattan spans several product lines and release levels and cycle count behaviour differs between them, so the specific extract and the field mapping are confirmed with your own Manhattan administrator during the five day deployment. What does not change is the shape: an LPN and location extract in, a discrepancy report out.
File, then API if wanted
The discrepancy report is enough to correct stock by hand from day one, which is how most sites start. When you want corrections written back automatically, the standard API handles it, on your IT roadmap rather than before go live.
Your WMS admin, briefly
One person who can run an existing extract. LPN translation is validated on day 2 of the five day deployment, so any mismatch between how Manhattan represents a pallet identifier and how it reads on the label is caught before go live rather than after it.
The four discrepancy types are the same whatever system you run, and the published setup fee already covers the correlation work. Where there is no system to connect to, see counting without a WMS.
Next step
Bring your Manhattan administrator to the call.
A 30 minute meeting to identify the extract your site can already run and check the LPN and location fields it contains.
